Permalink Fender CuNiFe Wide Range Humbuckers

New Topic

I just recently installed a pair of the new as of 2020 Fender CuNiFe Wide Range Humbuckers in a Squier VM Jazzmaster. I think they are really great. I have never played WRHBs before recently.
Wondering what others think of these WRHBs, and possibly if someone has compared them to other brand WRHBs?
Also, how do you like playing surf music with the real deal WRHBs?

PS: I know about the earlier reissue WRHBs that Fender still uses on Telecasters and that they are really just regular Humbuckers under the Wide Range covers. I have no interest in those. Smile

I haven't tried the new CuNiFe WDHBs but I would love to hear more from people who have!

I’ve heard some great things about these pickups. I don’t have any guitars that they fit in, but I’d sure love to test-play a set.

When Surf Guitar is outlawed only outlaws will play Surf Guitar.
