It's a merry Christmas after all!

No cool gear this year, but my two kids (who really aren't kids anymore, they are both out of college) chipped in and bought old Dad the Criterion Collection Blu Ray Box set of all 26 Zatoichi, the Blind Swordsman films...my favorite things out of Japan next to my ESP/Edwards Les Paul copy. Smile

I almost forgot.
I got this neat little cowboy guitar as a gag gift, and I love it!

I redid one of my guitars with a more colorful theme:

This is what it looked like before:

I had a really good time with the stimulus money
Traded in a few things to make some upgrades and bought a guitar

Well, I ended up pulling the trigger on this. Totally worthwhile!

Cool new toys!

I have been collecting parts to make 2 jazzmasters. I am waiting for a guy to make the first body, then I am going to get a second one if I like the first one. So far I have two American Professional Jazzmaster necks with hardware and vintage style string trees, a loaded pickguard with seymour duncans antiquity jm pickups, two american vintage trems, and I ordered two staytrem bridges off their website and am waiting. I should get the first body in about a month. Also screws, neckplates, and tele style knobs.

Sold some really nice things to get something even nicer. A '61 Guild X-175B. A bit before Christmas though.
