Just got the surfybear metal and loving it despite my limited playing ability. Loving the size of it, makes the money feel even better spent.
What settings do you use for it? And any recommendations for some songs that have a heavy drip sound.

Jonny and the Shamen have massive drip sounds on their adventures in espionage cd. Jonny for that record set the dwell to 4 with mix and tone way up at 8 for both for the heavy drip sounds. he used a fender reissue reverb through a vibrolux i think. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UoZsNK0l0qc&list=PL21F090C7217EB267&index=7 that's a very drip heavy spy tune. Jonny's also got some very impressive chicken pickin' skills on the track "JATS are GO" Personally I don't have a surfybear, but I built my own 6g15 reverb unit. for surf, dwell 5, mix 6, tone 6. for other music, dwell backs off to around 3 and the mix comes down to 3 or 4 Last edited: Dec 04, 2020 19:07:10 |
