Although all of them being related to surf music, we started three non-surf guitar instrumental side projects some 10 years ago: The Excelsiors (early '60s Euro-instro), The Angry Breed (mid '60s biker movie fuzz guitar instro), and The Royal Vikings (early '60s Northwest R&B instro).
Nice! Never heard of 60s Euro-instro, need to check it)

chronologically was in bands playing:
60s pop, punk, hardcore/metalcore, space rock, surf, rockabilly, 'dark' instrumental with odd time signatures.
even in the punk and heavy bands, I always threw surf riffs in, always used a little spring reverb, and always tried to play without heavy distortion unless it was absolutely necessary.
so basically I was playing surf in 10 different bands.

Surf added to all those others you listed adds up to the Cramps. One of my favorite bands for sure.

I play a lot of other things, but lately have been busy with this 80s-focused genre of electronic music called Synthwave. I just finished an album, too:

That's about my range. And ... Cramps! Perfect musical foil for the instro-surf to satisfy the "Where are the words?" audience members!

Lap steel guitar. Some David Lindley, some Don Helms.

I play every genre of 80's metal under the sun, basically.
Playing death metal taught me how to do tremolo picking correctly.
I've also played cold wave, synthwave and used to write film and video games music, I've done orchestral stuff, some pure noise, acousmatic... I actually have a masters degree in film music composition so I've played a lot of stuff.

I play Surf, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Country, Indie, Punk, Rockabilly, some Slide and Lapsteel and even a little bit of Folk/Fingerpicking...basically everything apart from Metal :), although I do this with my students
Being a guitar teacher and recording in a studio makes tons of style interesting and fun....

Other instrumental music like spaghetti western, 50s instrumental like Link Wray, Lonnie Mack, Duane Eddy, and the like. Otherwise, blues, rockabilly, classic country (both kinds), Americana, old-school folk, bluegrass, jazz (veering more to classic pre-1970 and swing/jump-blues), 60s-80s rock including psychedelic. Pretty much anything but classical, which is how I started in the music world on piano, but never got into it on guitar. Standard and slide guitars, pedal/console/lap steel, banjo, other stuff if needed.
