Well gang, it's been about 20 or 30 years and the Spies are back.
Two of the four original members reformed the group. They are now:
Tommy Klein-Guitar, David Suycott-Drums, Marshall Dawson-Guitar, Dan Polonsky-Bass
I was bummed out when these guys left the scene a few decades back. They actually knew how to play. Success got out of hand for them in the 1990's.. Marty Busca, the bass player succumbed to chemical habits; guitarist Todd Colburn disappeared into NYC. I met him once at a club.. a "different mindset" was quite evident.
Be that as it may.. original members Klein and Suycott reformed the group.

Search youtube for "Spies Who Surf Montrose Salon" I just happened upon it while looking at some of their old videos. They play their old tunes as well as some new material.
