I am considering purchasing a SurfyBear Compact. Could someone please show/link me to the exact type of power supply that I will need to buy?

Why do you need to buy a power supply when it's included in the package? —Lorenzo "Surfer Joe" Valdambrini |

Because surferjoemusic told me that some of their products do not come with a power supply. Specifically, the Brownfacer pedal. I can link you to that thread if you would like. —MooreLoud.com - A tribute to Dick Dale. Last edited: May 05, 2020 16:17:14 |

Well one thing are the small size 9V products, one thing are reverb units. Anyway you are right, I was not clear. To be perfectly clear, at the store on our web site you can find always what is included in the package. www.surfyindustries.com —Lorenzo "Surfer Joe" Valdambrini |

I have been checking every day to see when the new Compacts come out, including this morning. I just checked again, and they are now sold out. I would have been happy to pay in advance to reserve one. Any idea when the next batch will be ready? —MooreLoud.com - A tribute to Dick Dale. |

Hi, they are not sold out but still to come in stock really. We just updated the web site with the compacts, adding, if you notice, photos of the new black and fiesta red colors. Don’t worry they are available and coming in stock in a couple of days. Lorenzo "Surfer Joe" Valdambrini |

After months of considering, debating, and putting it off, I finally ordered a SurfyBear Compact this week. Should have it Saturday. Cannot wait to dig into this thing! |

I am so glad you finally decided to pull the trigger. First things first, this pedal is awesome. I used it at band practice last week, and it sounded great. I find myself using the Mixer 1-2 button more than I thought I would. Seriously, I am so glad they included that option on this unit. Having said that, a few things you should know about the pedal in general. For some reason, I don't get any drip or splash unless the volume on my guitar is turned all the way up. I have tried it on a few guitars, it's the same for all of them. You will also need to mess around with the decay, and adjust it to your liking. Also, make sure the volume knob is dialed in properly in case you need to use the bypass. It will take a while to get everything adjusted to the way you like it, but once you do, you will be so glad you bought one. Enjoy! —MooreLoud.com - A tribute to Dick Dale. |

Because the Delay control, which allows the smaller springs to sound bigger, is a gate, there needs to be a signal for the springs to crash. In other words, hit a chord or note first before kicking it. —http://www.satanspilgrims.com |

One terrific little feature, for those of you that DO sometimes turn the spring tank off... Dial Mixer 2 down all the way, and you get a nice clean boost from the pedal with no reverb. I used to use my Topanga pedal this way at the end of my chain for sort of a post-chain volume boost and I can do the same thing with the SurfyBear Compact using Mix 2. Very pleased. Can't believe how full this little thing sounds. |

Is the Brownfacer intended to be used before or after a SurfyBear Reverb? Seeing as it's emulating part of the amp, I'm assuming it's reverb tank first, then Brownfacer, but just checking if I got that right. |
