Permalink Spaghetti Western inspired tune!

New Topic

Hi there, Guys!
Just finished a new song.
This one is actually a spaghetti western/surf rock tribute to the classic Norwegian Black Metal song "Dunkelheit" by Burzum.

The original song is quite repetitive so I worked out some variations of the main themes in that tune.

Would love to hear what you guys think of it!

Sergio Leone would of used this song for sure! Well done.

'Surf Music Lasts Forever'

Cool man, black metal surf cover! Despite his sadly ridiculous ideals, I can relate to his music. Especially the early one. I love Woods Of Desolation, Striborg, Xasthur, I Shalt Become, etc... I will say, and I apologize, that I vastly prefer a clean tone. The guitar in this recording is so mean, but I feel like I’m not hearing all the wonderful dynamics. Sorry if that’s offensive!

(Dang it I forgot to review the SG comp!)

I guess I don’t know what black metal surf is, but I like this track.
