Will Sound of the Surf be available on Blu Ray ?

More than likely what will happen is the Bonus DVD will be available much earlier than the documentary. The documentary itself is a shorter (~1 hr.) much more commercial product. I'll be shopping it around to distributors and most of the final details, release date, formats, venues, will fall upon them. The exception will be festivals which is the first place it will be seen. Unless nobody wants to touch it for legal reasons, in that case we will self distribute.

The bonus DVD is the one that SG101 people (the core fans) will really want. It will have so much more material on it including modern bands and events that we taped, as well as extended interview material. I'm putting that together to be part of the fundraiser which will be forthcoming. I estimate the Bonus DVD to be shipping by early June.

That's my plan so far. Fingers crossed.

Thank you everyone for the kind words, your patience and interest.

Tom he meant the Blue ray format as opposed to Dvd.
Blu-ray is better picture and holds more time.
