Thanks for posting! This is great article, except that it failed to mention that the smartest of smarties listen to surf.

OK I guess they are saying in everyday common language we can all understand,that complex instrumental music like classical pieces requires advanced evolutionary development in cognitive mental abilities to appreciate it more, verse a more primitive music mindset of just using vocalization as form of musical expression. Ok I'll buy that music really did start imitating animal sounds while hunting using vocalization techniques thousands of years ago which now has been reduced in modern day times to just picking up a woman after the gig. Is that why men whistle at girls walking by, Dunno . . . another study needed.
