I haven't been here in a long time.
Thought it'd be worth sharing a band I was in.
Maybe some will dig some of it.

The music was never really released outside of locally on a few CDs, and hosted on a random site below. We played the area a bit. It was fun. We were quite possibly the most landlocked surf band to ever have existed (KS). Our weird little tribute to music we liked. We covered a few things, but also had many originals. Time marched on. People moved. Life happened. All pretty standard things. We did have fun for a few years.

Here's the EP recording if anyone is at all interested.

Last studio take that was complete http://www.corkscrewboar.com/Music/LosHabaneros/Los_Habaneros-01-TalosIV.mp3 Drums were done in a church.

Midnight Cowboy. Band practice, messing around with an old organ.

Got some other live tracks that were decent, but I think this is enough for now.

Shout out to the Satan's Pilgrims folks, the Bambi Molesters, The Madeira and all the folks Ivan's played with, Ivan in general, Daikaiju, Santo and Johnny, probably a lot more other random bands we all dig, DICK DALE (THE FATHER OF LOUD), and everyone who still digs instrumental surf rock.
