I am making a stereo fender reverb unit to use in a dual amp setup. Basically 2 6G15s in the same chassis with a shared power supply. I searched and hadn't seen anyone implement something similar. I might try some slight variations between the 2 also for more depth. Maybe 2 spring tank in one 3 spring in the other, 6K6 and 6V6, etc. If nothing else should be a could testbed for comparing such things.

I made a circuit board for the reverb circuit here:

I will have 2 of those boards in the chassis, with a separate board for the shared power supply. I'm using the same toolbox from harbor freight I have seen used for the Surfy Bear as a chassis.

Very cool idea! If you wanted to be drop dead sexy, build a harmonic vibe into it, with a switch to go post or pre reverb! Just kidding. That’s crazy talk. I salute you for building, I wish I had the time and space to do the same.
I use three amps with pedal splitters. (Two wet and one dry.) I used to have two reverb tanks right before the wet amps. I know that’s not what you’re talking about, but it’s a similar concept.
Now I use just one tank to feed both wet amps because I found that two different units ended up sort of clashing with each other. The springs didn’t bounce the same, and it all kind of washed out. Instead of several harmonic reverb tails, it became a cacophonous chorus of tails. No amount of fiddling would “clean it up.”
Next for me is to change which tank to use with each song. Some songs have muted parts and need the drip, whereas others are open notes don’t need them. I have an idea to put all three tanks on top of each other with three pedals coming out and switching between them. But that might be a horrible idea as I’ve noticed a change of tone when the reverb is switched off. I’d have to invest in a non-linear pedal system like the Gig Rig or something.
Heh. I just tried to imagine what a note would sound like with all three dialed to 10-10-10! Probably more like a feedback tidal wave rather than surf...

Interesting, I use 2 amps with built in reverb currently and I like the sound but wanted to try an external tank and figured I'd try 2. I may run into them fighting each other like you did, I'll let you know. One things for sure, I'll have plenty of options.

You might want to ask Tavo Vega about his experience building a stereo reverb unit, I'm pretty sure he tried that at one time.

I use this cheap Boss splitter first for the wet / dry. You could do this, and then rather than use two amps you could feed the dry (clean) into the 2nd channel of the amp.

Then a Fulltone SupaTrem2 which splits the wet to two amps.
Also these guys make splitters, and are happy to customize. I had them make a 2-way splitter, buffered, with a switch for a clean boost that adjusted from zero to +12dB. I think it was around $150.

I just learned that when using buffered pedals, it can be cleaner to go in the input 2, which has less resistance than input 1. Input 1 is best for a straight guitar signal.
