Today's new tracks: Munheca, by Marcelo Callado, Rei da Praia, by Beach Combers, and Dizzy, by The Almighty Devildogs.

Marcelo Callado is a drummer from Rio de Janeiro who has played with artists such as Caetano Veloso, Jorge Mautner and Alive Caymmi and was in bands such as Canastra, Carne de Segunda and Lafayette e os Temendões. In 2016 he recorded 4 instrumental tracks for a 7'' and Munheca is one of them.

Also from Rio de Janeiro, Beach Combers is one of the most active surf bands from Brazil. They have played around the country and can be seen playing their psychedelic surf on the streets and beachs of Rio.

The Almighty Devildogs are from Bauru, in the state of São Paulo. They play a mix of surf music and punk rock. Their music is also influenced by cinema and comic books.

Going be spinning tunes from this on my radio show in a couple of weeks. It is a great release!

Today's tracks are: Banana Boogie, by Os Pontas, Boldró, by Moreia - the Surf Monsters, and A terrível perseguição intergaláctica ao último quilombo de Emme Ya, by Tartarugas de Patinetes.

Os Pontas are an instrumental band focused on soul, garage. You can expect a lot of fuzz and farfisas

Moreira The Surf Monsters is a brand new band, they started in 2018, and play trad surf music. It is one of the few bands that has an actual surfer (and shaper!) in Brazil.

Tartarugas de Patinetes started around 2014 and play only original tunes with a heavy mix of psychedelic and surf sounds.

By the way, just started the pre orders of the actual box sets!

Cool! Thank you very much!

6 more tracks (3 yesterday ad 3 today): De Volta Ao Banheiro, by Superguedes, Tsunami, by The Old Jack, Storm Fisherman, by The Pulltones, Pique-Nique Beibe, by Esquivo Devoluto, Casa Cheia de Veneno, by Los Prego, and El Santo (Mariachi), by Os Carburadores.

Superguedes is a side roject by Gabriel Guedes, from Pata de Elefante. He recorded this track especially for Brazilian Tsunami.

The Old Jack is no longer active, but from it's ashes came another surf band, Moreia, that is also on this compilation.

The Pulltones main influences are tradicional surf, but with a modern touch.

Esquivo Devoluto is a project of Marcelo Bertozzo. He mixes surf, punk, jazz, blues and whatever comes in mind.

Los Prego are from Maceio and are together since 2008. They play a more trad surf music.

Os Carburadores are from Rio de Janeiro and play what they call "surf'a'billy garage". They are together for more than 10 years.

Today's tracks are Pirarucu Attack, by Jacaré Junkie, Enigma de Nazca, by Surf Aliens, and A Misteriosa Lagoa do Abaeté, by Ivan Motosserra Surf&Trash.

Jacaré Junkie's psychedelic surf comes from the beachs of the Amazon River, in Belém do Pará.

Surf Aliens is a surf punk band from São Paulo. Their guitar player comes from Blind Pings, an important brazilian punk rock band with a international career.

Ivan Motosserra Surf&Trash comes from Salvador and play a mix of surf, garage, psychbilly and latin music. Here they have Morotó Slim (Retrofoguetes) on slide guitar.

Today’s tracks are Eldorado, by Sex on The Beach, Bico Liso na Quissassa Medonha, by Barbatanas, and Big Wave Surfing, by Surfabats.

Sex On The Beach play a traditional surf music with hints of brazilian Jovem Guarda.

Barbatanas are a surf punk band with a heavy psychibilly influence.

Surfabats mixes punk, gothic and trad surf. On their gigs and albuns you will listen to covers of The Chantays, Joy Division, The Ventures and Dead Kennedys.

The boxes are ready and they look amazing!

I'll start shipping this week.
