I'm totally mesmerised by a Californian band called Knower.

Diggin' this at the moment. Some nice twangy Spaghetti Western guitar tones.

My son and I picked up some turntable/amp gear this past winter and we've been hitting up vintage stuff.

These were recent additions:

'I Want it That Way' by the Surf Rockets from the 2010 SG101 compilation. An inspired version--the guitars sound great.

If I'd stop buying old guitars to fix, I might actually learn to play.

While topping up the car's tank, the overhead was playing (weird in these parts) some KC & the Sunshine Band. Like too much of a heavy meal without cranberry sauce, needed a palate cleanser.

So Tribal Fury, and the rest of Madeira's Sonic Cataclysm, is purging that stuff & helping start the day.
Ahhh. That's better....

Yeah, to paraphrase Mark Twain's lament:
"I like to listen to good music played well. That is why I'm sometimes forced to choose it myself."

It is always a more pleasant alternative to ear bleach.
