Hi all! Have been stopping in here from time to time over the years and finally decided to sign up (procrastinator). I love that we all have a place to verb out here, and it's good to know there are so many of us out there! I am in Honolulu, HI and have an instrumental band called Men in Grey Suits. We are a "surf" band but stray here and there into other realms of fuzziness and spagetti westernland. Happy to have finally joined up and looking forward to finally contributing instead of leeching.... Cheers

Hi and welcome to the site!
Is this a different band than the Canadian band with the same name?

Brian, you're thinking of The Men in GRAY Suits.

Apparently the grey suits are a reference to sharks. Welcome aboard!

Welcome Dr. Rock! Nice to have you here, and good to know there is (more) surf music happening in Hawaii. Please let us know about your band, gigs and post some videos.

Hey Brian! FritzCat is correct, we are Men in Grey Suits from Hawaii they are The Men in Gray Suits of Canada. There have been some social media mixups, usually someone posting about a NY or Toronto gig that we are not playing (making us want to come East and play more!!). Fortunately we sound quite different from each other and hopefully can coexist in peace.

DeathTide !! Shaka to you as well brother! I will ask around, guarantee I know some cats who will remember The Repairmen (sick name BTW..). One of our good friends here (James Ganeko) plays drums on track 1 of our album and is a surf music guru here. I'm a transplant, Fort Lauderdale High Our original drummer was Alvin Fejarang and was a member of Kalapana back in the 70s, passed away last year sadly... Now we are haole heavy but not by design or choice, just worked out that way
