Permalink NAD: Therdrail Blackface Deluxe style head

New Topic

Hey folks! I just received this custom made Therdrail head. It’s single channel, hand-wired, and uses a bunch of vintage components (transformers, tubes, etc...). I wanted it as stripped down as possible, so there is no built in reverb. I get all my reverb from my Surfybear (pictured here in the toolbox). The bright cap is switchable and the eq is super reactive. I had been using vintage Ampegs for my live rig, but this thing has so much more sparkle to it. My new live setup for my band, The Donner Beach Party is: my refinished 1962 Jag -> Surfybear -> Therdrail Deluxe -> a custom built 2x12” with WGS G12C/S speakers. Now I can leave all my best pedals on my pedalboard for my other band. This setup doesn’t need any!
