Permalink Reverb tank noisy and feedbacking :(

New Topic

Hi all, I have a texotica reverb tank that just stopped working suddenly and I'm off to the studio in a couple weeks :S

It's really noisy and does this highpitch feedback sound. I've done a bit of trouble shooting and it's definitely the reverb tank.

Things I've tried:
-Changed the tubes
-Changed the pan

Any idea what could be causing this?

Have you checked the RCA cables that connect the pan? When they go bad (especially the connectors) they cause all kind of problems.

I don't have spare cables so I just unhooked them and the problem persists. Thanks for the suggestion.
