Hey all,
I'll be spending a week or so in the US this September 7-16 . I'll be making my way though from Auckland to Boston and spending a few days in Cali en route, probably around the LA area. I have a conference in Boston 12-16 September.
If any of you good folk from either Cali or Boston have shows, or know of gigs or just want to show off some cool stuff guitar tear and have a jam thatd be great.
Otherwise if anyone has cool tips on good venues to check out or Any guitar shops that I should check out for cool vintage gear (probably just to ogle at) then I'd also appreciate Ethernet advice.
Would be great to bring the bull kelp surfers to a sg101 convention one year!

Sadly ill be back in the USSR .. i mean Tutukaka NZ by then. Thanks for the heads up.
Dont want to crash your party bu if you'd to catch up for the 8th of september events pm me closer to the date. be good to meet a local or two and talk tiki. I'll be travelling solo. Have one or two friends in LA but not sure if they are free or not yet.

Also, any tips on where to stay in Cali?
Im thinking beach with a better than good chance of finding surf music at a local tiki bar most nights.
Also handy to guitar shops for the daytime.
Wouldnt hurt to have some mellow surf available if I wanted to rent a board and get amongst it.
