For my '62 AVRI. It broke! Internally, the part that holds the solder pads, carried with it one connection. I have no idea why and how.
Is this one (1M) an acceptable replacement?, the original is knurled+slotted as well, but it's outside shaft's length is a bit longer (0.3" instead of 0.26").
I'll be getting vintage knobs, sometime.
Thank you.

That's a mini pot. It would work, but it's not a very good one. And, the knurls on top are a little different.
The regular sized posts are closer to 25mm.
A direct fit for stock would be a CTS 1meg Audio.

Oh my, I didn't notice it's mini!
Thanks very much Sonichris.
How surprising, the above supplier doesn't stock what I need. Any good sources?

Thanks Jake. The current knobs are shafted without screw, will it fit?
And which one will be better/last longer, Fender or CTS?
I'll look for vintage style knobs to match.

Oh... Yeah. Wrong ones if it doesn't use the grub screw. I thought Jazzmaster knobs screwed on, I'm Jaguar blinded. The later ones do. Look up split shaft instead of solid shaft.
I presume the Fender ones are made my CTS.

Since you are outside the US, I don't know who to use. I usually get that stuff on ebay for the best prices.
Fender and CTS are the same. The Fender ones come in a Fender package.

Thanks again! yeah I figured I'd need split&knurled shafts.
But what I really want are siver-top witch hats, I'm getting vintage enough myself. They should go with the smooth ones, right?
Just look at these uglies:
Really don't do justice for the rest.
And that's the broken pot:
So hopefully I can find Pots&Hats (hey is this some kind of ritual?) from the same supplier. I can order from USA no problem.
edit: Angela
The price is insane. The fakes I found look too fake. Well. Solid shaft after all... Appreciate all your help!

Bejabbers! I've never seen a pot so broken. I didn't know it was possible. It looks like it was struck by lightning.

I dindu nuffin The broken off part was hanging only by that plastic film underneath the board. Insane. Material weakness? The guitar never fell. Neither got almost any regular use, that tone pot. Maybe faulty from the factory, it worked until it didn't.
I feel it's a call for attention, since a Jaguar entered the house. There's a jealousy thing going on. I'll comply then, with a new set of Witch-hats.
Thanks for the recommendation, Sonichris, I'll check him out.

Yeah, so...
If Witch Hat - Solid Shaft
If Strat style - Split Shaft
Sorry for confusing you earlier. Pure Jag on the brain!

Just to note:
CTS doesn’t make both linear and audio taper 1 meg solid shaft pots. They make 1 but not the other (I forget which)
But Fender makes them both.
Part numbers: 0019066049 and 0095704049
If you want witch hats, like Jake says, you gotta go solid shaft. You can go with split shaft but you need a little metal sleeve. Not sure of the part number but a search on offset guitar boards or google could probably tell you. But the sleeve doesn’t work as well. Makes the knob spin crooked if you tighten it too tight, or it slips if you don’t do it tight enough.
