The JBLs aren't worth $1000 as he claims. The cab appears to be a hacked cab from the larger 67-68 ones. And the tolex/grill really hurts the value. Also, super weird mod on the back. Also, baffle might be made from MDM. |

Ha! kinda fun! The speakers are worth a couple bucks for sure, in good condition, but I don't know about $1000. It's not the original speaker cabinet either. And, it's got a couple of mods looking at it from the back. Probably some sort of master volume, or mid control, and an extra jack of some sort. My favorite part is " definitely pre CBS", when the back panel says "Fender Musical Instruments, a division of Columbia Record Distribution" Otherwise known as CBS. I'd buy it if it were less. and I had a tiki bar area. —"You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |

The guy did a great job explaining what the mod is so my guess he'd take much less for it. —The Kahuna Kings https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Kahuna-Kings/459752090818447 |

That MDF looking baffle is problematic. As noted, not pre-CBS. But if that were local I might at least give it a look. There's room to work with there. The grill is kind of cool in it's own way. |

A reminder, a month or two effort will find you clean examples amps at $1000-1200 Bassman, $900-1100 Tremolux or Bandmaster or a $1200-1300 Showman. The deals are out there. The stupid prices are out there as well which colors the market as expensive when it isn't as bad as it seems. MAKE OFFERS. |
