This will undoubtedly be a great show. Wish I could be there too. I love all 3 of those bands!

Jealous; have a great time. If not committed I would make the drive in a heartbeat around the Horn, especially to see MR. Pongracic (his kid's band is a pretty good bunch of guys too).
Looks like a terrific evening, have a wonderful time.

Thank you, all! Hopefully some good videos will emerge from the show.
Doing some practicing today, here's my rig for Saturday:
I'll be using my Vox AC30 with both bands - and it's VERY rare that I use it live with The Madeira. Actually, Patrick will also be using a Vox AC30 - and both of us using AC30s at the same show will be a first! Can't wait, it's gonna sound amazing!

We had an AMAZING time on Saturday night - the show was SOLD-OUT!! Around 150 highly enthusiastic people there, just an amazing vibe! The Concussions were powerful and tight, and simply a blast! What a great band, and a great, GREAT group of guys! We love playing with them! Big thanks to them for the invitation and for the amazing show.
It's been quite a while since the Madeira played with the Troubadours, and it was wonderful to be able to do that again. Those classic '60s Shadows instrumental hits are the perfect lead-in for the Madeira's high-energy modern surf music, and the audience loved it - especially seeing Ivan Pongracic Sr. and Kenny Morris rocking out like teenagers! (Oops! The rest of my post got cut off earlier - here it is now.) Tommy Schichtel of the Concussions even dedicated the Shadows' "Theme for Young Lovers" to Ivan Sr. and Ana Pongracic (who was in attendance), which is both 'their song' from the time they started dating in '65, as well as a Concussions' favorite.
Overall, this was truly one of most fun and special shows we've played in a while! Here's hoping we get to do it again soon. BIG thanks to Tip Top Deluxe for being such a musician-friendly venue, and especially to all the Grand Rapids music fans that came to the show - we really appreciate your enthusiastic reception We hope to see you all again soon. (Thanks to Dave Stanton and Ted Smith for the below photos.)

Glad you had a great time - but it seems like it would've been hard not to. Hoping someone caught some Troubadours video.
