I purchased a new Road Worn Jag the other day. It arrived today. Nasty nasty nasty looking. Even came with two broken strings. Checked the serial number..it's a 2014 heavy relic bastard looking slab of wood. I purchased..I thought..a 2017 lightly relic. Well I took it out of the box for about three minutes then packed her back up. Called MF and they sent me a return label..I will never deal with them again. Guessing the morning I'll call my cat at SW and just buy a Lacquered 60s Jaguar if I can get them to move on the price a bit, if not there are some on Reverb.com

Yeah, that is the road worn. I've never seen pictures of the Jag being real beat up but I've seen many Strats/Teles in person that are just decimated.

I heard the new ones..2017.. were not that beat up. Even the pics looked decent. The screws on this guitar were fubared I doubt you could turn them with a Phillips screw driver....oh well just more down time.

They sent the wrong thing. The new rw guitars have that Pau Ferro wood, and are pretty distinguishable.

Sent the RW back this morning and purchased a used 2016 Lacquer 60s Jaguar I found on Reverb.com. for just a little more than a new Squire VM
