I just love this band and I say-- the Crazy Aces rock the ground they walk on!

I mean, is it ok to act like a fan?

I'll chime in. I have 2 favorites: Chop and channel. I like the bass line alot. I told Jeff that they could play "the last song" at my funeral and I would consider it most fitting. Not every band has heart felt music. The last song is full of emotion to me. Smile

As long as you don't ask Jeff to sign your boobies!
Great songs, great playing and great guys. What more could you ask for?

Been a fan for quite awhile. These guys make music, professionally rendered to real people with fun & energy. The ensemble work, recorded or live, is a benchmark. (From the videos I've seen of last year's convention people who didn't get there early enough seriously missed out.)

Now... Jeff, another winter is coming. Let's get on that Crazy Aces hoodie thing, mmm? & I'll forget about you making that Epi disappear out from under me.
LMAO

Crazy Aces! Cheers Cheers Cheers

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Wow Da Vinci - thanks so much!
We're always happy to hear someone digs our music but that picture of my fat head is kind of creepy...! LOL

Sincerely, we are so thankful for anyone who gives us a chance, takes the time to listen. Music in a vacuum is nothing and those of you who took a minute to comment are some of our biggest supporters and friends.
This is not wasted on us. We create and will continue to create our music not only for ourselves but for you.

My heartfelt appreciation,
Jeff

I agree...great band. Caught them at the 2015 Instro Summit and really enjoyed their set. Nice guys too!

Love the Crazy Aces. Love their vibe and that Jeff Senn is a pretty darn awesome guitar player. I always get questioned when I sport my Crazy Aces T-shirt.

Thank you Ed, that's really nice of you to say.
Very appreciated.
Most of the time, these last few years, I feel like I'm barely keeping it together on the guitar but I still love it as much as I did when I was a young boy.
I hope this "questioning" you speak of when you wear your Aces shirt is of the benevolent kind...LOL.

Cheers,
Jeff

That T-shirt is, for me, PFM. I always catch fish and, last year, it was worn throughout the Cubs' successful bid for a World Series win. (yes, it was laundered over the course of 9 days...)

Superstitious? Nope; well, maybe a little stitious.

Jeff.... ha.. people are like "Who or What are the Crazy Aces?" Then I have to explain and the follow up is usually, "What is Surf Music? Like the Beach Boys?" It's kinda cool turning people on to this style of music. Keep doing what you guys are doing Jeff. It's awesome! Maybe someday I'll be able to make it down to Nashville and check out a Crazy Aces Show... unless you can make it up to the Chicago area...

I've been a huge fan of Jeff and the Crazy Aces for a long time as well. You guys are great!

Either you surf, or you fight.

I'm a fan. Great set at SG101 in 2016, and I picked up all their CDs then. I'm always looking forward to new music from Jeff and co.

I really like The Crazy Aces except for their look, their playing and their arrangements, their recordings and performances, and their general vibe. But otherwise they're OK ....! But seriously, they're up at the top of the instrumental food chain pyramid! Hoot!

I was very pleased with what I was able to view at the SG101 con,
But sadly I was running around doing stuff and missed some.
One of the down sides of putting on a big show.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

i really like them too. great sets at sg101 and the instro summit in NC.

I have avoided this thread ever since I started it due to the embarrassing fanboy nature of it all.

It's time to re-up the ante again cuz along with being one of the most innovative instro bands, their fearless leader has been a real encouragement to me and my band which, is one and the same thing.

Very early on in my exploration of surf Jeff said some nice things about my noisy sounds that really helped to fuel my ambition. Actually complimented my use of reverb!

Still got the printout of your comments from 'DOWNLOADS A-GO-GO' on the fridge Jeff!

They are definitely among the current greats, and Jeff has been super supportive and a great contributor to the discussions. Count me among the fans.
