I went to see her live at Don Quixote's in Felton this past week. Lots of good music; not surf but not all that far away either. I nice slight change of pace from the 40+ hours of live surf I have went to over the past few weeks. She did roughly a 50-50 split of her originals and cover medleys. Only two "surf" songs; "Bodysurfing" and her surf medley. I've attached videos of both below (not from the show.)

Some random observations:

She pulled in a big crowd. The place was sold out. On a Tuesday.
There were quite a few older people but also quite a bit of families and teenagers. I would say a good split between men and women.
The venue had setup rows of chairs. I got there around 30 minutes before the show and the best seat I could get was in the back. During the performance, I saw a lot of people sit still even though the music at times was pretty lively.
Taimane asked a couple different times for the sound guy to turn up the reverb. I did not see how the reverb was done.

For those interested, she is doing a couple shows in So. Cal soon: one show at The Mint on the Wednesday 8-23 & another one in Rancho Palo Verdes on Saturday, 8-26.
