I know nothing about you except for the video's you have posted. I see a dignified gentleman playing his guitar. He's also alone in his room. I noticed you smiled in this one. I took that to mean you nailed a part that you either like or you struggled with. No matter, once again, I saw a teenager enjoying life. Good job! |

Glad you liked it folks. wfoguy (sorry, I don't know your name), Whenever I smile, it means I missed an otherwise easy run. Blessings, |

A very nice job, Abdel! The harmony bits were a real surprise! What is no surprise is that you have a real feel for this song, as you do with all Shadows numbers. This is probably my favorite song from the Shadows' debut. I've loved it since I was 10, and still as much today as ever. In fact, the very first song I'm likely to play any time I pick up a guitar is "Find Me a Golden Street". It requires a real sensitive touch and perfect timing to make the melody come alive. (Interestingly enough, as you almost certainly already know, it was written by Norman Petty, who produced Buddy Holly as well as the Fireballs.) Here's the version my dad and I recorded last Christmas. (Not sure my guitar was completely in tune, or at least not entirely in tune with my dad's guitar.) Thanks! —Ivan Last edited: Jul 21, 2017 15:36:28 |

My favorite Shadows song by far. It was always a treat to sit in on drums with the Space Cossacks and perform it. —https://www.facebook.com/killersfromspaceband |
