Just picked up a Super Six Reverb. Did I need it? Definitely not. Did I buy it anyway? Of course I did. Does it suck to move? Hell yes it does. But...
I gigged with this guy recently and absolutely loved it!

Congrats!

I see that it has casters there on the side. And for good reason, too! Wink
What does that bad boy weigh? (And I thought my Vibrosonic was heavy!)

-Cheers, Clark-

-Less Paul, more Reverb-

Yep, straps on the other side, none on top. Weighs right around 100 pounds. More than anything though it's awkward!!

No doubt it sounds great. Just looking at it makes me reach for the Tylenol.
Enjoy.

That has studio killer written all over it.

I'd love to be able to turn one of those up loud enough to roar and get weird.

You've got that right Badger, it is painful to move. The day after the gig I walked around wondering why my shoulder hurt so bad!
And Chip, I was able to blast it at our gig, it does get a nice crunch and can produce great natural feedback. Fun with the vibrato and reverb cranked. I do know a few guys that have them as studio only amps.

a real monster in weight and sound !
just look it hurt my back ,find some roadies Big Grin

Good amps!

Both thumbs up for that one. The Super Six and the Quad Reverb......yeah baby do those rascals move some air.

Put six JBL D-110's in it and realize how much it didn't weigh before.

Always trying to be helpful,

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Well, it has wheels. Add an engine and you've got yourself a tour van Laughing

Old punks never die... They just become surf rockers.

KERRANG ! yeah ...that'll do ! looks painfully heavy but those really move some air , congrats on the amp.

Yup, my Super Reverb with JBL/D110F's weighs almost 100 lbs!

If you have a spare $800 you could load it with neodymium speakers to reduce weight.

Squink Out!

I always wanted to get one of those, build a new baffle and run a 15" JBL and two 10" speakers. Of course, then I'd have to move it. I think Waylon Jennings amps were like that.
