I can't wait to see my good friends Crazy Aces perform, they are probably the most underrated instrumental group in the world, and sweethearts to boot!

In the world?
Holy jeepers!
I'm sure glad I got up and put in some practice time before work!
Thems is some big shoes to fill.
Now the sweetheart thing.....yeah, we can do that for sure, LOL.

I am SO stoked for Friday!

Cheers,
Jeff

Bump for those "thinking" about getting there - just do it.
(I will be up north in my lucky bass-catching Crazy Aces shirt.)
Hope everyone has a great time!

There's no question in my mind that this will be a great show unless the electricity goes off and you are 150' back and are deaf. Smile It's summer. We are all supposed to have fabulous times and remember what it's like to be 16. Now go do it. Smile

HA! Thanks so much! I have that faith as well! So excited for the fun weekend

Well we had a blast!
We actually had a pretty good crowd for a Nashville show.
The Aces stumbled around as a three piece and while not one of our best shows we played some new covers and Aces' standards and it was fun to reinvent a little bit. It's really great to have Tome Hoey back on drums with us. He certainly earned MVP in our band that night.

The Mystery Men? where great! I always enjoy their performances. Their new songs and their new "hit" ballad are fantastic. The entire Surf community should be excited that these guys will soon have a new record out. I was fortunate to have a preview of one recorded track and all I can say is Wow!
They will undoubtedly be one of the highlights at this years SG101 Convention. The interplay of the three guitars live is dynamic and well arranged.
What a fun night to have our dear friends play in our town.

Cheers,
Jeff

Thanks for the great pics!

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Thanks so much, Jeff!! Not surprising considering our last time in Nashville with you guys, but we had A BLAST! Can't thank you enough for the kind words, but you and Chris (and Kiko!!) are deep in our hearts forever for you unparalleled hospitality! Really loved the venue, too!! A hit for us all around. Can't wait to come back! I understand that I abuse exclamation points (sorry, not sorry), but this is CERTAINLY a place where they apply!

Great pics (and Modelo Uno sightings)!
Glad you guys had a great time. Thumbs Up

Wish I could've been beamed there but was busy catching fish wearing my lucky Crazy Aces T.

Great photos of what sounds like a great show! Do you have any video of the show? Nice to see the Model Unos.
