I was at that Cumberland Mall show and you are right, the acoustics were, well, maybe not as bad as the Egyptian Ball room in the Fox Theater, (an all marble rectangle with a domed marble ceiling), but close. I remember the Penetrators shooting videos of a lot of their performances. There must be a secret S3 stash of them. ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

Gee Woody, I'm not sure. But I vaguely remember Stix telling me that for a brief time, they were promoting a fashion line, and maybe did a couple of the mall concerts as part of that effort. We'll have to "interrogate" him at the Star Bar next week. I remember the Astronauts' shows in Atlanta in June '65 were part of a fashion promotion......... ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp.
