Are any of you women? Do any of you have women in your bands? What instruments do you/they play? I know of some "all-girl" surf bands, but few mixed gender.

All opinions expressed by this poster are well thought out and based on actual experience and/or scientific experimentation, except for those which are knee-jerk reactions or good sounding fantasies.

There's so many I'm not sure how many there are.

Bambi Molesters
Messer Chups
Ninth Wave
Tarantino's New York
Man or Astro Man?
Los Twang! Marvels
Chicchi and the Sweet Papas
Par Avion
Los Pacific Lions
Bamboogie Injections
Team Void
Meshuggah Beach Party
Threesome
The Surf Coasters
The Mermen
The Space Cossacks

any band Carol Busbey plays in

and dozens and dozens more.

Our drummer, Elena Pinto-Torres, is amazing, it's been such a thrill playing with her as she's gone from dusting off her old punk rock chops to thoroughly incorporating a huge range of influences and become one of the best drummers in town.
