Thanks for posting this Rev! Link's spirit is very much a part of this new project. We wanted something with some attitude. Here's the link if anyone is interested in taking a look, see what we're up to. http://eastwoodcustoms.com/projects/continental/ Cheers, http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic Last edited: Mar 28, 2017 18:38:49 |

It sounds great in the video, even with the mini humbucker. Rev —Canadian Surf |

Always think it's hard to find a new angle on guitar design as there's SO many guitars out there. But Jeff always finds a way to hit the button. This is a great looking guitar. |

I don't know... kinda looks like it's just an altered Twin Tone model. — |

Man, Eastwood's got some great looking guitars out. Do any of you have any first-hand experience with them, in terms of quality and craftsmanship? |

I know what you mean about the twin tone but I guess there's got to be some reference points. I thought it had its own vibe. Or is it a wonky les Paul? |

I had an early one, an Eastwood Sidejack, so I can't say if the newer ones are as badly made. I certainly hope they haven't got any worse. — |

There is a concerted effort on Eastwood's behalf to raise the quality of their products, especially over the last year and the specimens I've had the opportunity to get my hands on, specifically from Korea are well made instruments. Cheers, http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |

Brian and james14000 - thank you for your support and kind words. We recorded a band demo with the guitar and an Eastwood Saturn IV Bass and a couple of the Crazy Aces guys played on it with me. Fair warning - it's not Surf music but it's a garage-y sounding tune by Joe Jackson and I thought some may dig it since the Aces guys are in it. Brian - FWIW, I'm not trying to market here, just share with friends but if you ever feel a line has been crossed or these posts are irrelevant in regards to the site then please feel free to let me know. Here's an interview with Jeff by Eastwood. A very good read. https://www.eastwoodguitars.com/blogs/news/jeff-senn-interview-an-amazing-journey Rev —Canadian Surf http://www.urbansurfkings.com/ Last edited: Apr 15, 2017 09:13:39 |

And 113% funded as of the time of this post. Congrats, Jeff! I love my Model One. I expected to like it, but wound up really surprised at how well I wound up bonding with it. —The Mystery Men? |

I can't speak to the playability of these guitars (only because I've never played one!) but I've always been gaga for the overall (somewhat space-age, somewhat minimalist) design. So clean looking, and just something about the interaction between the body and pickguard contours. The choice of selector knob is also pure genius. No doubt the Model T will make the same splash the Model 1 did last year! -murph —http://www.reverbnation.com/elmiragesurf "I knew I was in trouble when the Coco-Loco tasted like water!" -- morphball |
