Well it took a while, but the Calendar is now converted to the new design. The big change and the reason it took so long is I developed a new editor box that should work a lot better on small devices. Let me know what you think! —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

This is a nice improvement. I might end up using my phone soon! Yay! Setting some kind of breakpoints for mobile is a great idea. Normalize.css is a great idea. Lots of great ideas, here. Since you asked for suggestions, I would avoid placing down arrows (of your main menu) directly adjacent to the text of the next menu item. Visually, it is confusing since the arrow and the text appear that they should be related by virtue of proximity. Or perhaps you could clearly delineate choice by making subtle buttons out of your solid grey bar by introducing a few pixels of background between selections? — |

Yeah, the down arrows are a bug (I think) in the Foundation framework I'm using. I hope that gets fixed soon. But thanks for the reminder to look into that. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea Last edited: Jun 28, 2016 21:11:18 |

Ruediger, did you ever get that figured out? I haven't seen that problem and I use Firefox on Android, Linux, Windows, and Mac... not sure what could cause that for you. Switching topics: I've converted the profile pages over to the new design. Not too many people use the "Elsewhere Links" feature, but I noticed a lot of people got their Facebook link goofed up. I don't blame them, it's more than a little confusing. I have updated the help text on that page to make it hopefully easier to get right. Basically, to add a link to your FB profile, you need your FB numeric profile ID. There is a helper website that will help you find this number if you don't already know it (I suspect most people won't). See the edit elsewhere links page for more info. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

I'm very shortly going to push up a change to the private message (PM) system, converting it to the new design. It should be very familiar if you are on a desktop, but hopefully will be a little easier to use on your phone or tablet. It may also have some rough edges and stuff I missed, so please let me know if you find something off or odd. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Just converted the news section over to the new design. Let me know if you see something that doesn't work or doesn't work the same as before. Seems like I always break something... And along those lines I've noticed we lost some formatting on private messages... gonna fix that soon. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

I clicked through many of the indexed pages in News, jumped to the very first article(s) in the section, saw in-line images and videos just fine, followed article title hot links and 'comment' links to the appropriate threads and whatnot. Looks great and seems to be functioning as expected - Nicely done, Brian! —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

Made some minor tweaks to the profile page for clarity. When I redid the news I forgot one of the templates is shared with the home page, so that is kind of screwed up now. May force my hand to update that sooner than planned. If anyone has any ideas on how they want the home page to look, let me know. I might change it up a bit, or maybe just make it arranged the same for now and redo it later. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |
