Ivan, this whole affair is so cool!
(One of the few good things to happen inside the beltway in a long time.)
I know everyone will thoroughly enjoy themselves.
And that poster is out of hand!

Thank you, Wes and Jeff!
Here's a bit of what to expect at this show: this is from a week ago, Friday the 24th, at Winters Tavern in Pacifica, CA, where John Blair generously gave Mark English his guitar and let him play The Space Cossacks classic "The Apes of Wrath" with The Blair Pongracic Band - enjoy!

FINN-tastic! So looking forward to any coverage of this.
I notice in Force of Gravity the lights would at times give you all guitars matching with stripes on shirts - holographic almost, lol.
2x guys!

Thanks again, Wes, you're always very generous!
Four weeks from today - and one day after The Space Cossacks' first reunion show at IOTA in Arlington, VA - we hit Atlanta (and pray it doesn't hit back! ) We'll be playing as part of the fantastic Southern Surf Stomp series with the amazing The Mystery Men? at the legendary Atlanta club Star Bar, the second of our two East Coast shows. It's sure to be an unforgettable night! Really hope you can make one of these two! (Sadly, Sticks Stechkin AKA Elliott Dangar was in an accident that will prevent The Penetrators from playing this show, which is very disappointing. Get better soon, Sticks - we WILL play together the next time!)

And here's once again the full poster, by the super-talented Jamie Galatas, an SG101er, a Mystery Man, and all-around truly incredible human being!
Oh, and the wild animated video done for to promote this show - thank you Drew Mobley!

Unfortunately due to an injury the Penetrators won't be doing the show in Atlanta. Instead, we got the garage punk legend Bruce Joyner (of the Unknowns) debuting his new group Netherglades!
Here's Bruce with the aforementioned Unknowns:

The Mystery Men? - 2012-
MOONBASE - 2012-2017
The KBK - 2017-2022

Hey Ivan, I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fellow Space Cossacks in person at the Iota club this Friday! I'm very excited to finally be able to catch a Space Cossacks show and it's always great to see Paul and the guys from the Atomic Mosquitos play live (which they do up here in Frederick, MD from time to time).

I can't wait to see the Cossacks and The Mystery Men? at the Star Bar!
I've never been to the Star Bar (sheltered life, I know). Does anyone have tips regarding parking, arrival time, or anything else?
I'm looking forward to picking up the Space Cossacks' new "Live Supernova" CD and T-shirt, and I hope to meet IvanP.

The Star Bar is my favorite watering hole in town! It's in Little 5 Points, so it's always crowded (especially on a Saturday!), but your best bet is parking behind the building. Tell the lot attendant that you're going to The Star Bar and you shouldn't be charged. If that lot is full (it happens occasionally), there are a number of other lots and street parking... just be aware of your surroundings and parking signs (Park Atlanta are cretin assholes!). Evening shows RARELY start before 10PM, but they do a happy hour type of thing on Saturday afternoons, so they open at 4PM. It's gonna be such a fun night!
Protip: PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING OF ANY VALUE IN VIEW IN YOUR CAR. This applies wherever you park down there.

The first Space Cossacks practice in six years down! Felt GREAT! Like we played together last month, not 2010! Everybody did their homework. Can't wait till tomorrow night!
