I LOVE Strats when my bandmates use them. I am a total Fender Junkie and have a collection of stuff. I am in a Surf Band now, but always played in 60s bands. love the 60s not huge into motown though. I play guitar and bass and own every Fender except a Mustang. Last edited: Jun 06, 2016 13:09:55 |

My three-color did-it-myself guitar matches our Insanitizers band shirts and hats. This photo is from our 6/11/16 performance at the Vancouver WA Farmer's Market to an enthusiastic crowd. The guitar stayed in tune for the entire two hour performance despite frequent vibrato bends. Insanitizers! http://www.insanitizers.com Last edited: Jun 12, 2016 17:01:15 |

How do you all think one of these would go? Last edited: Jul 03, 2016 13:04:43 |

I am currently playing a MIM std strat that I modified. It is now loaded with two 63' RI strat fender pickups, one neck, one bridge, no middle. I love the neck + bridge combination ! I am looking for an unfinished Warmoth neck. I should go for it soon ! —................oO MONSIEUR BIDET Oo................ Well, I read ALL 50 pages in hopes that by the end, I would have learned enough to make a decision between Jaguar or Jazzmaster.. then, with the Squiers, I could get both for less than one Fender.. Really like the Fender Classic 60s with its nitro finish on both the fiesta red Jag and the surf green Jazzmaster.. |

I read all the pages too, good stuff. Have a Strat, got me a lacquer Jazzmaster and a VM Jag. Think I'm covered. |

I have a Squier Classic Vibe 50s strat, a G&L Tribute S500 and the oddball cousin, the Squier '51 strat/tele hybrid. I like your idea of having 1 lacquer fender and one VM.. but which for which? .. ahhh the g.a.s. dilemas. I love the S500, so I could conceivably trade off the 51 and the CV50, but the funds available to me will still only allow for one of the new ones to be a fender. I believe it will ultimately come down to my deep rooted love of chrome to sway me towards the Jag and if funds allow, the Jazzmaster will be a VM. Now, if I can just stick with that decision.. |

When I got my lacquer Jazzmaster I had a really tough time deciding between it and the Jaguar, really wanted both but at the time only wanted to pay for one. The ultimate decision came down to color. Love the surf green (Jazz) hate fiesta red (Jag). Shallow I know but I figured either way I would get a great guitar, both suitable for surf. My VM Jag is white with tort guard, put a staytrem bridge on both guitars. Like 'em both, the Squier Jag is noticeably heavier. Other than that I have no complaints. My lacquer is now my number one with my VM Jag and Strat are an alternating number two. Wish Fender made the lacquer Jaguar in a sunburst. |
