I love the guitar riff but can't place the song or artist. Can anyone ID it for me? link: https://www.ispot.tv/ad/Ak7g/2016-mazda3-carried-away

95% that is just a generic song by a 'ad jingle' guy.

I agree with Jake. It could be a "real" song but the problem with that is that Mazda would have had to pay for licensing.

So it's better for them to use a song written specifically for the commercial, or ones from a "stock music" library (which can have smaller license fees or no fee at all).

Sounds very typical "guitarist who can use a DAW" kind of thing.

As the owner of a 2014 Mazda 3, I dig the commercial. The music, however, I can neither identify nor endorse. Big Grin

Ditto (including the car). Between trucks (still) and love the little thing. The '3' has been for some time what all the other little cars aspire to. ZoomZoom.
