Here's another vote for keeping the interview segment - it's a really nice, personal touch. Nice song selections, too. Thanks again for doing this, it turned out great.

So what were the tank settings for your voice?

-Warren

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Belairs!! - Volcanic Action!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian,

Congrats on the podcast. A very entertaining show. I hope this is the first in a long series!

Mel

Since Danny talked about MBP at length, I should have played a track. Duh

I will next time.

It is a lot of work but I can see myself doing it again in a month or so.

Once a month is a good rate--it gives everyone who missed it initially a chance to get caught up.

-Warren

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

iTunes just rejected my feed with no explanation. They even say in the email "it could be for a variety of reasons". I guess I will try again or complain to my host or both.

keep the interviews coming! They add a lot. Smile

Listening to it now.
Great stuff.

Thanks for all your time and effort!

WOW Brian......your podcast is cool. i downloaded it to my itunes and then burned a copy which i will listen to tonight on my way to my gig in Hanalei. It's 40 miles of bad road and takes about an hour to get there from Lawai so i can check it twice.....coming and going!! Speaking of podcasts....Chongolio came to see us in Kapa'a Saturday night and he doesn't look like a monkey at all in person!! Very Happy

Brian, I loved the podcast! Excellent job! (Thanks so much for playing the Madeira, too.) I loved the interview, and was nuts about your songlist (the Wet Tones!!! What an awesome obscure tune. And the Nightrider is probably my favorite J&TN song!). And the Tomorrow Men tracks were fantastic.

I really appreciate Brian's unceasing efforts to expose people to great surf music. And I especially appreciate that now it will be even easier for the SG101 members to hear the music made by other members. There's a LOT of talent in our midst!

It must be quite a bit of work to put something like this together - speaking for myself, it was greatly appreciated. I definitely look forward to the future ones, and the current one will get many plays on my iPod.

Thank all you guys for cranking out the incredible music!

I am trying to get my feed submitted to iTunes and am having all kinds of trouble. Anyone have experience with this?

Current stats: 131 attempted (partial?) downloads, 85 full downloads, 57 Web plays.

I need someone's help.

Can someone who has iTunes do the following for me?

Fire up iTunes
Click on iTunes store
Click Podcasts (on the top left)
Click Power Search (on the top right)
Type surfguitar101 in the title box
Click the search button

Do you see the podcast in the results? Or does it say "no results found" or something?

Thanks.

Brian,

When I tried the search it said 'no results found.'

Brian, I think submitting to iTunes is going to be quite the task. I know getting out CD on there is going to be a 6 month process. However, a free podcast might be different. I do not know however. I'm looking forward to the day where the SG101 podcast will surprise me on my morning bus ride.

It worked for me. No problems at all.

wonder if it could be a firefox problem, ever since we switched over to firefox I have had all sorts of trouble listening to online stuff, always have to use IE to do it.

I have no idea about I pod stuff, dont have one, I just stream stuff when available.

sorry for no help.
