Same guys?
Atlantics

Yep. (with the addition of Johnny Rebb - I think - on vocals.)

They were really great at the garage thing, too....

is this song written by the atlantics too?

Ive known the song from since high school, a locally popular garagy band - the miners of muzo - played it and had it on an album. I loved the band, ignorant teenager I was. since then, Ive found out pretty much all of their great songs were covers. kick ass live act nonetheless.

I like the singers hair. And I bet it's very safe to ride a bike with that hair. Exclamation

The Atlantics song was included on a popular mid 80s Australian 60s garage comp called "Ugly Things". They probably got it from there.

The hair reminds me of the pop on hair for Lego's people.

Yep, it was written by Peter Hood, the drummer.

Here's another one from that same era: It's a Hard Life

This one written by Jim Skiathitis (or Jim Adams, as he was calling himself around that time), one of the two guitarists.

I just got the CD of their post-surf/instrumental stuff, roughly 1965-1970. It's called "The Legendary JRA/Ramrod Sessions," on the Aussie label Canetoad. Brilliant.
