One of my favorite bands, and songs. Best live band that I've ever seen.

They did 2 dates in southern Ontario with the same lineup. Meet Uriah Heep and they where awesome. If I remember correctly it was the Total Recall tour1993. It was a fantastic show overall.

Doing the nostalgia tour of my record collection this weekend and I spent half the day listening to these guys. I forgot they made this great instro. As far from surf as you could get, and perhaps far from "cool" too but hey I was a big fan back in the day.

How about Roy Buchannan's sublime instrumental cover of "Sweet Dreams"?

Double Naught Spy Car's Deutsch Bag. Their "Comb in Blue Water" album has a couple of other greats such as "Double Naught Spy Car" but also several songs that I don't care to hear again. The album title reflects the band's previous name, "Pink Floyd The Barber." They had to drop that name because lawyers got involved.

This track got me into instrumental music, a hot track!

So many favorite non-surf instrumentals. But the song Close (To The Edit) from The Art Of Noise amazed me the most when I first heard it played on the radio. So different than everything else. Still great to listen to.

Dunno if it's been mentioned before in this thread.
And if I recall correctly, Slacktone may have dabbled with doing a version of it. But I've always liked since I was a little kid "Frankensein"
