This has been ongoing for some time, but sporadically Hotmail, MSN, and sbcglobal are not accepting email from my ISP's mail server. This makes it difficult for people to register, receive PM and thread notifications, and change passwords.
There are instructions on the registration page on how to work around this, but if you have another email address you can use (gmail, yahoo, etc.), please use it instead. If you are having problems changing your password, etc. please contact me and I can try to help.
My server is not on any blacklist, but apparently some other servers owned by my ISP are, and Hotmail et. al. are tarring all of them with the same brush.
I've expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation to my ISP, but I'm not certain anything will come of it. I apologize for the inconvenience, but there isn't much I can do at this point, short of switching hosts (and it may come to that).

I'm sorry to say that this is still going on. My ISP isn't helping me to resolve this.
Please understand that if you use one of these providers you will not get any emails from the site. You won't get your forum thread subscription notices, nor will you be able to change your password.
In the meantime I will keep trying to get this resolved. It may come down to switching hosts.

Linda from the Surfing Museum was having trouble with Hotmail, and other
email providers in the winter.
She was getting bounced back emails about 2 weeks later.
And she either didn't book those bands,
or had to call them on the phone to make sure they got on the schedule.

I humbly groveled before the evil overlords at Hotmail and begged them to accept email from our little cow-town puppet show website. Hopefully the mail will start flowing again.

Okay, I think hotmail is flowing again. The only problem provider I see now is AT&T (sbcglobal, and maybe some other ones). I've asked AT&T to let my email through but they have ignored me so far.

Email to sbcglobal accounts are not going through. If any of you are customers of theirs, please ask them to unblock this site. They are ignoring me.

Hotmail was blocking us for a while today but I again groveled before Microsoft and I think they removed us from the black list. It may be a few hours before it all clears up.
