Jeff(bigtikidude)

I'll be down for sure for the Winter Surf Fest. Any confirmations on the lineup yet?

Bob

Yeah... I was there last year during this festival... it was a bit chilly but nothing compared to the sub-freezing temperatures we have already been getting this year. It's too damn early for this!

I think that Ken and I will try to make it this year.

Hope to see Barbara Lynn at the Guitar Geek Fest. One time I did a ticket giveaway on KFJC and the question to win them was "What do Barbara Lynn and Dick Dale have in common?" LOTS of wrong answers - wondered if I was challenging the listeners too much. (Both play guitar left handed.)

Confirmed so far is the Tomorrowmen, and High Tide.
waiting for other confirmations soon.
stay tuned.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

added to the Line Up,
John Blair playing with High Tide,
doing a tribute to Eddie and the Showmen.

and Probably Paul Johnson playing in a Belairs tribute set.
possibly other Belairs members too.

Hi, everyone,

I was at the Winter Surf Fest 2012 at the Starting Gate (as well as being at NAMM and the Deke Dickerson Festival) and my son and I have just fixed our 2013 trip to Orange County in order to do it all again in January 2013. Looking forward to meeting up with Bigtikidude once more, as well as the rest of the gang at Los Alamitos. We'll be staying at Westminster for a few days, but shifting to Anaheim over the weekend of 25-27 January. I recall rubbing shoulders with a host of surf luminaries last year, including Adrian "Big Papu" from Argentina and SurferXMatt from New England. I know Adrian won't be there this year, but it'll be good to meet up with the above-named plus Jon Blair and crew. Can't wait!

Jim Nugent

Jim,

will be great to see you again.
