My condolences to his family and personal friends. Edddie's passing leaves a void in the surf community that can never be filled.

So Sad,
Can't say much more, than at least he is not suffering anymore.
Hope Eddie and Baja Marty are up there cranking the reverb,
and having a beer together.
2 things that both those guys liked very much.
Raising a toast to you now Eddie.

RIP Eddie. My thoughts and prayers with his family. A great loss for the surf community.

It would be a shame if Eddie didn't know how much he meant to us before he got sick. But if he didn't, thanks to Tim for allowing us to tell Eddie through our posts and emails. Eddie surely knows it now. I hope we all have at least one friend like Tim when the time comes. And that we've have the love to be that friend if necessary. Thanks, again, Tim.

I just found out the sad news from Tiki Tena. My condolences to friends and fans of Eddie. I feel honored to have known him and played with him. When I met him he seemed like a guy in his 20's. So much youthful and infectious energy. So sad he had to go this way. My fondest memory was backing him up in The Ghastly Ones at Tena's backyard bash. Here's a photo from happier times…

and Heartfelt condolences go out to all of Eddies family and other friends

As much as it saddens me to think of the way Eddie was recently,
I thank you for taking pics and video of him when he was out there kicking ass. I like to think of Eddie that way, in the pic you posted above.
RIP Eddie
