El Ray - Car Hire From Hell http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6SDpLejakc I only got this one done! I kept getting phone calls interrupting me, then the water supply line for the fridge sprung a leak and finished off my evening. Anyway this sia a video of El Ray at The Redwood in LA on August 9th. The place was packed and I had to hold my camera up on a mono pod by the ceiling. That is why it is not aimed too well. Sorry about that! All the videos from there turned out grainy because of low light. Thanks Guy Top

In fact, since the recording gear was already set up, the Cossacks set ended up being recorded, as well, and that's where those live recordings come from that some of you have and that are floating about. (I think two of those songs were on the Cossaacks best-of, Never Mind the Bolsheviks.) Having seen J&TN at that show, as well as the Rendezvous Ballroom Reunion, and a few others over the years, it is my impression that they still played the best I've ever seen them at the August SG101 Convention. They were just ON FIRE! I really hope some more videos surface from that show.
