another fabulous donation From Tavo at
thenocturnebrain.com
For the Price of a 5 dollar ticket,
this pedal could be yours, at the convention only,
must be present to win.
Its a one off- Double Stomp version of
the Nailhead Trem-O-Flow pedal. Its finished in "Dead Red"
powercoat and navy blue mini chicken head knobs.
Here's the hyperbole about it on my website: www.thenocturnebrain.com
Named after my 54' Buick's 322 Nailhead V-8 engine
this tremelo, with its well known unique transistor circuit has been revamped & optimized for the guitars
Your guitar is never lost in the effect and the throb is smooth and even across all 6 strings. Dig in hard and push the transistors to clip a little for some grease, back off and chords strums are full with throbbing vintage bounce. Just like my Buick does when I fire her up for a drive.
The double stomp Version has a second stomp that freezes the
speed or rather drop the speed rate to a slow mo setting.
Kind of quirky but cool if you are going through a passage
at a moderately fast rate and you want a dramatic "Break"
to the throb.

I'm stoked to have arrived in town, and will be at the Redwood Bar & Grill for tonight's awesome show (El Ray, Insects, 3 Balls, Los Venturas). I'm leaning toward the Purple Orchid tomorrow night.

This is hurting me that I couldn't come. I hope you have a fabulous turnout. There is so many cool things that it is a shame that everyone within 300 miles isn't sitting on your doorstep waiting.

on a brighter note.

The Surf Guitar 101 convention almost here! And I still haven't decided between wearing my Ibanez shirt or my Peavey shirt! This will be a tough one...

Can some kind soul purchase an El Ray t-shirt (large) for me? I'll gladly pay you plus shipping and something extra for your time. I can throw in some SG101 stickers also. Thanks.

I'm being lazy this year. I scored a room at Don's Turf Motel this time, instead of bringin' my mo-ho. It's stumbling distance from the Starting Gate, plus I scored a pool view. Skinny dipping after the show anybody? Ha ha ha! See you tomorrow! Gonna shred some Victor with Mad Maxx and Big Tiki Dude in the morning. 10am? WTH???????????????

Moment of the night: Madeira playing "Far Away Places" for Marty. I can't say I ever knew Marty on a personal level, but seeing the sincerity that poured out during that song from everyone on or near the stage is a moment I'll never forget.
What an honor to see all these bands, thanks Jeff! Another home run. As if I wasn't exhausted at 9 am when we got there, I sure as hell was when I left. But what a great time!

Awesome awesome show! I was blown away by all the bands, thanks to all who made it happen. Great crowd too. Won some swag, bought some other swag, ears are bleeding, it was great!
At the airport this morning for business travel, hate having to miss the pier show...

My first convention and there aren't enough words to describe it so I'll just say Outstanding. Jeff I know you put alot work into this and thank you great job. All of the bands were fantastic I'm already looking forward to next year. I wish I could make the pier show today but have to head back to Arizona. It was great meeting some of .SG101 member's .
Well gotta go get the car and head down the highway.
