I know that its probably hard to sell a cd now, with so many other cds
coming out all the time.
But this cd is one of those classic must haves in the collection.

If I categorized my cds by style instead of A-Z,
I'd put these guys next to the Torguays,Diamondheads and the Aquasonincs.

I have to say, i often tune in if Ron's comments to find out what he's up to out there. If he's pleased with the review then i'm pleased for him too.
I think Alan Taylor only lives a few stops up the railway line from me and will be sharing the same weather - NOT that i'm usually a weather whinger but the thoughts of Hawaii, The Takeoffs on a nice warm night and a cool larger is very appealing to me at the moment! Smile

Just got my copy of Pipeline. Great review of the Takeoffs indeed!

Well deserved, Ron. Congrats!!

CUTBACK

It should also be mentioned that there's a great interview with Brian Locking, a diary of being on the road with The Ventures in Japan during the summer of 2011 as well as reviews of the 20th Pipeline Convention, Aloha Screwdriver, The Anacondas, The Charades, The Cliftones, Jerry Cole's 'Psychedelic Guitars', Rev Hank's 'Longhorn', The Ben Rogers Trio, The Sand Devils and lots more.

This is the album that you had a heck of a time making, right? The one that almost didn't get made?

Glad Ben Rogers was in this mag as well. He is one of the best guitarists in Oz IMHO
