The burgers were tasty, the Showman sounded fab with the 15", the sound in the large room was really good, the band was great as always, and the night's rendition of Penetration was a high point for me. Good to see you, Tuck!

The band sounded good and did their usual eclectic mix of surf and "I bet you didn't think anyone could surf this" stuff. Also, Wild Blue Wonder, the surf song born somehow in a rockabilly band. (Actually, that happens a lot, so I'm not really surprised.)

With shock and horror I am forced to report that the bar does not really have anything in the India pale ale range, do I had to make do with Mother's Little Yella Pils.
