In the tradition of the "What are you..." series on SG101 here's WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING RIGHT NOW!

Tonight it's the Mod Masterpiece QUADROPHENIA...

With music by one of my all time favorite bands THE WHO...

It’s been a lazy Sunday... Today, I’ve been catching up on this season of Parks and Recreation.

image

Also watching Face Off on Syfy.

image

Also watched the Buddy Holly Story with Gary Busey today.

image

Apparently there was some big sports contest on today?... meh.

Right now, I'm staring at my computer screen, trying to get motivated.

Last night, during the Super Bowl, I ate soup out of a bowl. Seriously, I watched an episode of Doc Martin:

Followed by a few episodes of Tosh.0:

Waiting patiently for the new episode of The Walking Dead next Sunday:

Moon is GREAT. Good choice, Ryan.

Science friction burns my fingers.

+1 on Walking Dead. I got a wind trainer for my bike this winter (trying to not turn into my usual fat shit self by spring) and I've discovered the joys of streaming zombies while I spin.

We're about to start mixing our two Angry Breed tracks for the upcoming split 45 EP we're doing with the Hangee V so I just re-watched The Wild Angels to get in the right mood. Big Grin

Moon was a hell of a movie. I think I was expecting it to be goofy based on a lot of other stuff I've seen Sam Rockwell in, but it was far from it. Without giving any of it away, I'd recommend it to anyone, even if you're not all that into science fiction.

I caught the new Conan the Barbarian movie this past weekend. I thought it was quite enjoyable. It wasn't a remake, but more a reboot of the series. I am not calling it high art. None-the-less, the fantasy/sword and sorcery genre is one that is not delved into nearly enough for my taste.

Huge Conan fan here- mainly due to the black and white "Savage Sword of Conan" magazines that were a staple of mine growing up in the 80's. I have not seen the new movie yet, but probably will some time for the nostalgia's sake.

+1. Huge fan of the Robert Howard stories. The first movie with Arnie is such a classic. Loved that movie. Hated the follow up. I've been really hesitant to see the new one, but I'm sure I'll give it a go at some point.

If you are a Conan fan, I highly suggest tracking down the film SOLOMON KANE. It was released overseas in 2010 but has yet to make it to the US. It is based on another one of Conan's author's characters and was top notch.

Also, it is little known that the 90's film Kull the Conquerer was actually the 3rd Conan film. Due to Arnold not being willing to return at the time, they replaced the main character with another one of Robert E Howards characters. The main story of the film is actually taken from the Conan story 'Hour of the Dragon' with bits of 'The Phonix Sword' and 'By this Axe I Rule'.

Ok, Star Wars fans : prepare yourself. This is the result of an insane project. People made a remake of the first movie "A new hope". They share the movie in 15" part and each people had to shoot each part in any way he wanted (animation, actors...). Here it is : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ezeYJUz-84&feature=player_embedded

An album would indeed be nice although we really enjoy doing 45s for the moment. Fuzz on!

Fair warning - season four is a huuuuuuuge nosedive. It's still decent, but don't expect anything on par with season two or the season three finale.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

Bummer, but not a complete surprise that it's run its course. You're right, it apexed Season 2, and Season 3 dragged a bit and only redeemed itself in a pretty kick-ass finale; I don't think I could do another season of that kind of thing though, probably skipping.
