Skip,
I thought you said(in other thread) that you aren't going to
be able to attend the convention?
So are you saying you want to play it in the Jam?
Or you want Josh and Trey to play it?
I'm so confused.....

Anyone want to do Yozora No Hoshi? I'd like to do bass for that or another song where there's room, I'm not picky.

At Jeff Hansen's request, The John Blair Band (almost fresh from our tour of Italy last month) will play one tune during the "Jam Hour of Power" (joined by Lorenzo Valdambrini on drums, Frank Hughes on bass, and a special guest on 2nd guitar).

You confuse easily Amigo! I want Josh and Trey (or SOMEONE) to do it. I figure I can catch the video at least. I had hoped to do it in the Jam.

Yeah it's always been one of my favorites and it hardly ever pops up. I think it'd be fun, it's great for two guitarists to take turns with lead and rhythm. Assuming people like to share, anyway

Since 3/4 of The Mystery Men? will be there, we figure we'll pull our Southern Surf Syndicate weight and play The Penetrators' "Codename: Gypsy"
Looks like Jeff is working on drums.

Well, it looks like josheboy and I will do the Astronauts Firewater! Put us down for a slot, if you will. (Please allow enough time for my free-form "surf-jazz" solo explorations, though. 360 bars or, say, 12 minutes ought to be enough time. So 3:02 plus whatever that works out to.)

That's right, in honor of this annual Surf Party we're playing Firewater. And we fully expect everyone to get up and dance!!
Don't know how to dance to such a groovy tune? No problem! Just watch the attached video and practice in your bedroom.
The best dancer gets a free drink! And at 9 in the morning, what could be better than dancing to surf tunes and having a free drink??
See you in 3 weeks!
