My husband and I will be there. Will NOT miss the Fender tour this year!

Still waiting for confirmation of the Fender Tour.
I hope we can do it again.

Jeff, the tour is amazing. I'd actually be delighted to do it again, but I'd also stand aside if you needed the room for someone who hadn't done it before.

I was thinking the same thing - would love to do it again but wouldn't want to take away anyone's first chance. I would say if you're coming to the convention. you owe it to yourself to go on the tour too. Rock

yes, if you didn't do the fender tour last year do yourself a favor and sign up if it happens again. i too don't want to take the spot from someone who missed out last year so i'm going to stick around to do the wedge, rendezvous and maybe breakfast tour monday morning instead.

Thanks Guys, and MOM,
if it happens, I will ask all of the out of town bands first,
then if anyone new who hasn't gone before.

then if there is open spots, you are welcome to come again.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

The stuff Mom mentions is actually also a must see, too. If you haven't done it you should do it if possible. Something I would willingly repeat.

ON WHAT SPECIFIC DATE, AND TIME, WOULD THE 'FENDER TOUR' HAPPEN (ASSUMING IT IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE....)

Here's a good thing to remember about the Fender tour. You must have closed shoes for it. No sandals or open toed women's heels, etc. It's an industrial setting. Last year they happened to have some emergency shoes behind the desk for the two people who forgot. But I don't think you want to count on that (or on their fitting), even if you like wearing shoes random other people have worn. I don't remember if tenis shoes were OK.

I wore Converse Chuck Taylors...all was good...it was the "closed-toe shoe" Fender was looking for ... no flip flops, no sandals, no high heels...

like you said: It's a factory/manufacturing center... they'll make you wear good walking shoes and safety glasses!

Just Confirmed, for after the convention.
Slacktone at Don the Beachcomber,
Sat. night, Aug. 13th from 9pm to midnite.

Convention ends at 8 pm,
Come over to Dons(just a few miles) for the the after party,
some great food and drinks,
and the Amazing Slacktone doing a rare 3 sets!!
