I'm starting to load in my videos from Suzy's. The lighting was much better.
Here is a set of videos from Point Doom, who really blew everyone away, despite this being their first public performance. And, I'm proud to say all 3 members are SG101 members!  The band consists of Stormtiger on guitar, Dboomer on drums, and DP on bass.
These guys had some really choice covers, and also played 2 originals that sounded great! I look forward to many great things from this band!

Doug I'm surprised to hear you say that. Although my perceptions are colored because I was there in person, I'd say overall you guys put on a very strong performance. Especially on The Wedge, which I did not capture. The videos really don't do the performances justice, because they don't fully capture the volume and energy coming off the stage. I also think I need an external mic. The built-in one is too weak.

Ok the only things I have done so far is the Tequila Worms at The Juke Joint in Anaheim. The video came out pretty good but the audio came out really bad. I think it was too loud for my camera. But you can get an idea of what it was like. Since The Wadadli Riders and The Space Rangers played so many times I am going to get their videos from another venue. Is there any specific request of order to do things? I was starting with the first show first. I am hurting on hard drive space so I have to do it one hour at a time.

Wow! That version of "Sing Sing Sing" with Don and Dusty on the drum solos is awesome! I hope other versions of that tune turn up...those two drum maniacs blew my mind! Thanks for the video! Holy Gene Krupa!

Congratulations to Point Doom for an unforgettable premiere performance! I'm really loving all the videos, you guys were hot! I really wish I could have witnessed it in person! I really look forward to hearing much more from you guys, especially as I know that Doug is a very promising songwriter and just needed a capable band to turn his songs into something very special. I hope this is that band!!
