I concur. Why are all the young surf bands so awesome, with the exception of us of course. Reluctant Aquanauts, Monsters From Mars, Lava Rats(although they look old). Those three are all top surf bands in my opinion. |

The Lava Rats could kick the combined asses of Monsters From Mars, Reluctant Aquanauts, and The 'Verb. They look old do their their being gigantic. |

Speaking of which, how awesome would it be to have a Under 24-25 surf band tour or series of shows. We need more young bands though. |

Thanks you guys! Yeah, I did this video for one of my film classes. A fun excuse to make a music video and get an A at the same time. Scott |

That would be awesome! ...and I think any band could physically beat us up. Im 5'3" for one...and were all very non-threatening to begin with. —Scott |

Our tallest member may be the member that weighs the least, the rest of the guys aren't that athletic, and I am weaker than hell since I got cancer although I am not as weak as I used to be. |

This is a sweet video.
And Jake, I'm not sure surviving cancer makes you weak. |

Well, I lost all of my muscle mass. I was pretty naturally strong from being athletic. I could run a sub 6 minute mile and I played baseball my whole life. I could throw 90mph. Okay... 89MPH. But that is from the mound and from the outfield I could probably throw 95 since I wasn't a pitcher. And for the surgeries I had, one punch would put me on the ground if you punched where I had the surgeries. |

Geeeez, Yeah, I will say that that we Rats do tend to look a bit imposing - we're all over six foot (Rodd tops out the band at 6'3), and at least two of us are over 200 (though I'm working on it ). Nothing like seeing to big ol' mothas standing up there with 2x15 cabs to send a little fear into ya. But I assure you, we're big ol' teddy bears. Now if Kenan were still in the band, he'd drop the average age of the band while bringing the height up another inch or two. And Jake, I was a ballplayer from about second grade through high school as well, and while I pitched some in grade school, I used my arm mostly for weilding a big stick (snicker snicker). Guess that's why the put me at first base... ~B~ |
