Amazon are now taking pre orders for As the Dark Wave Swells with a release date of 24th May, both vinyl and cd.
Thought i'd mention this for the people on this side of the water (Europe).

Just wanted to let you all know the package of Bambi Molesters CD's and LP's arrived from Croatia today. I will be busy tonight and over the weekend packing these up and sending them out to everyone that pre-ordered them. I should be able to get half out tomorrow and half out Monday (in the order received). Thanks to everyone for your patience!!

All of the items I received from Dancing Bear Records in Croatia, including several Bambi Molesters CD's and LP's, as well as the Morricone Tribute "For A Few Guitars More" have been added to the Double Crown website - here is the link:

I am now sold out of the Intensity and As The Dark Wave Swells LP's, and probably won't be ordering more. It just costs way too much for shipping - I only charged $19.75 for the LP's I did receive, and felt bad charging that much, but in reality it probably should have been $24.75, or higher...

I'm also sold out of the As The Dark Wave Swells CD's, but have another batch on the way. There are a few people who ordered it that will unfortunately need to wait for this new batch to arrive. It is available for pre-order, once again, through the Double Crown website and will ship as soon as they arrive.

I received _As the Dark Wave Swells _this morning so i'd guess europe is now in full swing. Nice one.

I haven't been able to take this off the player since I got it, and it keeps getting better.

Just listened to it again this morning, as I was waking up and getting up. So good!!

Pick it up! As someone who is jaded from "surf music" I must say I utterly enjoy this record. Such a breath of fresh air. I'm a huge fan of the band, and I thinks this album truly sounds like themselves.

I agree with Jake, I think it's an amazing CD! For my money, one of the very best of the past two years. I can't get enough of it (despite there being a track or two I'm not too crazy about, but that's always the case with any band or CD). It's great to have the Bambis back in full force!!!

I got the vinyl about a week ago, and it has been spinning constantly on my turntable. The guitar tones are what really grab me on this release. There's a nice variety of sounds, some trad, some not. The songs and performances are top notch, of course.

I'm glad you've been playing it on your turntable, it would have been embarrassing if you tried to play your record on a laserdisc player.

I'm playing it at least every other, if not every day. DLHT and Sonic Bullets are getting regular play as well. I've heard about them since I got into surf, but I'm blown away by just how fantastic a band they really are. My oldest son is starting to get into them as well.

Me too. At first I thought I might have to cut it down to 5" for my CD player. Technology, oh boy!
