Laughing Haha, so awesome. Warren, what's the name of that character? I love those episodes.

The big red dude in sneakers is Gossamer.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

imageNorm is that where you guys got the idea for the 1st albums title? Surely you watched Looney Tunes as a kid? I think we all did. That show is hilarious.

Cool graphics! I'm am indeed a big fan of cartoons, but to answer your question this isn't where our first album title came from. There's a Casper cartoon and a Laurel and Hardy movie also with the same title. It's an often used play on words. I added Go-Go on the end to make it ours.

Now back to your regularly scheduled fuzzy program... Here's six tunes from the Devil's Angels soundtrack by Davie Allan, the undisputed King of Fuzz.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRH-zgVfVvg&feature=PlayList&p=6A4D3CC14DC28491&index=0&playnext=1

Great thread,
Not as cool as the "real" stuff posted by others, nevertheless here's a tune that I have liked since I was a child:

More wicked Fuzz for ya... Devil's Rumble by Davie Allan... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoEr6wkJAXs&feature=related

I was very impressed that Tarantino used this tune in Inglorious Basterds. Not surprising however, since he has always made excellent choices for the music in his films.

I liked the fact that he put that tune (which I love) in the movie, but I felt, and this is only a personal opinion, that it didn't fit in any way in that scene at all, don't know, maybe I've got that tune associated too much to a Wild Angels - Devil's Angels type of scenario, it sounded almost ridiculous to me to have that song when you're looking at a bunch of people in a theater, even if they're nazi officers and all. But anyway, a song like that in a mainstream movie is always welcome!

I totally respect your opinion, Daniel. But for me the tune really worked in that scene. In fact, it put a big smile on my face while watching it the first time. I'm a huge fan of the biker flicks, but in the context of that scene, the song takes on a spaghetti western showdown feel rather than a biker movie feel, IMO. I was impressed that he was able to do that.

I agree. That film was a mash up of elements from several different exploitation movie styles. In my opinion it worked. The average, mainstream filmgoer isn't exactly hip to the exploitation genre. I think that using the biker/spaghetti western tunes and the 70s titles helped convey the feel he was trying to get across.

I totally agree with Norm, and JP on this one too.I saw the movie in the theater, and the song really charged the crowd. I heard a dude behind me say "That song fuckin' kicked ass" after the scene was over.I thought to myself, you don't know the half of it pal !

There are a few tracks on Bruce Johnston's "Surfin' Around The World" (1963) that are extremely fuzzy and pre-psych for the times. But, he did play with the Gamblers on Moondawg/LSD-25, so...

Here's a Fuzz song that I've been messing with for a while(something for us Deadbeats to learn). It's an original. Anyways I used Garage band for this. I used a drum track that's already provided with the program and I added Bass, Rhythm, and 2 Fuzz guitars. I call it "Avenging Angels". Here's the link: http://www.zshare.net/download/77061585d7235314/ Any feedback is most welcome. BTW I think it will only play with iTunes. Thanks again folks.

Very cool Abraham. Sounds like a bonafied biker anthem to me. You should record that with the full band. My only suggestion would be ad a break in the middle and maybe slow the tempo down just a hair. It's gonna sound great with real drums. Nice fuzz tone by the way! What are you using?

Thanks. I wasn't trying to write the song like a DA&the Arrows tune. But the main chord progression has the same chords from the bridge part to "Fuzz Theme". If I had a Farfisa on there it would kinda sound Bomboras-ish.

Glad you liked it. I basically recorded this track on GarageBand so that the rest of the guys could listen to what I want them to play. And yes Im gonna slow it down towards the middle. And add a break but I didn't know how to do that with the GarageBand program. I just started learning to use it. Oh and for the Fuzz Im using Santiago's FuzzBrite pedal. I put 2 fuzz guitars in there. BTW this isn't the whole song. I only recorded the basic parts. Thanks again fellas.
